Major countries around the world are accelerating the deployment and application of Artificial Intelligence(AI) in the military field currently. AI has gradually penetrated into task processes such as intelligence analysis, combat planning, command and control, becoming an important force of military transformation. The science and technology development of AI in 2023 of foreign countries is conducted, and targeted enlightenment suggestions are put forward. The development of foreign AI is summarized from the perspective of strategic planning, organization and security governance in the world's major countries. Many important achievements have been made in the key technology fields, such as generative artificial intelligence,human-machine hybrid intelligence and swarm intelligence technology, and the application of AI in military fields continues to deepen, including air warfare, land warfare and naval warfare, and the pace of installation and empowerment is accelerating. Finally, some advices are given to improve the level of military intelligentization and to provide a reference for subsequent research, such as strengthening the research on low-cost cluster ammunition and security governance in the military intelligentization, establishing AI research institutions, and soon.
