In order to adapt to the operational needs of effectively resisting enemy air strikes in modern warfare environments, air and missile defense weapons and equipment are characterized by network centeredness, platform integration, functional diversification, and modular components. Based on the future development trend of air and missile defense systems, the development of Russia's platform centered air and missile defense systems are analyzed, mainly including the upgrading and improvement of C-series air defense missile systems, as well as the characteristics of Russia's air defense system development.It is analyzed the development of the US military's air and missile defense system which is driven by network centers, and proposed the "four major networks". On this basis, the development ideas of air and missile defense systems in the new form of war are proposed, as well as suggestions for technological development and system construction.
