Study of Key Technologies of Intelligent Munition Swarms Cooperative Warfare

Abstract:

As a novel military operation mode,swarms cooperative warfare has attracted great interests from powerful-military countries to deal with complex battlefield circumstance with high dynamic and intensive confrontation in modem warfare. Combining with the performance of intelligent munitions and the characteristics of swarms warfare,the features of intelligent munition swarms are described. Then,the recent status of related projects about swarms cooperative warfare are investigated and the gaps between China and foreign countries are analyzed. Focusing on ad-hoc network communication,distributed situation awareness,autonomous decision-making and planning,and cooperative guidance,navigation,and control( GNC),the meanings and the status-of-the-art of the key technologies of swarms warfare are provided. Finally,several suggestions on future development of intelligent munition swarms cooperative warfare technologies are given.
